Coldwell Banker Kasey & Associates Sponsors Home for Habitat for Humanity

Coldwell Banker is marking its 100th anniversary by sponsoring 100 homes for Habitat for Humanity. At a companywide meeting held August 25th, Coldwell Banker Kasey & Associates announced plans to sponsor one of the homes amid construction decorations and high-energy music.

Mike Kasey is one of fifteen Coldwell Banker Owners/Brokers selected to serve on the President's Advisory Council for this national campaign. Locally, he charged sales associates from each office to determine the company's project and spearhead fundraising efforts. The Kasey & Associates committee members are: Dennis McGeorge, South (Chairman); Karen Brinson Allen, Corportate; Becky Davis, Downtown; Sharon Morgan, Waynesville; Kim Schroeder, Black Mountain; and Lynne Stafford and Carolyn Widener, Hendersonville.

The local committee worked diligently to determine which area affiliate to sponsor, and after careful review of need and project requirements the group selected Haywood County. The total cost to build the home is $25,000. At the company meeting, Sharon Morgan challenged each sales associate to contribute $100 or more to the effort. "How many of us own our own home?" she questioned. "With $100 donation, you can give someone else that privilege."
