Climate
Nestled in the valley of the earth's oldest mountain range, Black Mountain sits at 2400 feet elevation. During the summer, the days are warm and the nights are cool. Spring is a riot of flowers with more than 1500 varieties of wildflowers waking from winter's slumber. Autumn is an explosion of color unlike anywhere else. Winter brings snowfalls that delight the child in us all yet disappear in a few days.
